As a Right To Play Athlete Ambassador I believe that every child has the right to play. I feel so privileged to be a part of such an impactful program and have the chance to give disadvantaged children the chance to be kids, to play to find happiness and to develop health and life skills vital to successful futures.

In April 2009, I traveled to Jordan to see Right To Play programs in action in Aqaba and Wadi-Rum and became even more convinced that Right To Play makes a huge difference for disadvantaged children around the world. Watching these kids laugh and play together I could see that they were developing their self-esteem, a sense of belonging, leadership and cooperation skills, and that they were living healthier lives. To watch it was joyful in a way that is almost unexplainable!

I have a goal to raise $5,000 – enough funds to allow 100 children to participant in weekly Right To Play programs for an entire year. No donation you can make is too small as we work toward this goal. Join me in helping to create a healthier and safer world through the power of sport and play!
