Support My Journey The mission of Right To Play is to improve the lives of children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world by using the power of sport and play for development, health and peace.

It's mind-boggling for me to think about the ample  opportunities that I've had here in the US to develop as an athlete, and then contrast that to the incredibly challenging lives that children in the Third World face. Participating in sports has had an incredible impact on my life, and I understand what they mean for personal development. I believe in Right to Play's mission of extending similar opportunities to the kids who really need them. I'm running the NYC marathon in order to raise a small amount of money for RTP, but I'm hoping that it will help a few kids learn sports, build self-esteem, and maybe change their lives for the better. Simply put, we all need - and should have - the right to play.

My pledge is to raise at least $5,000, which will allow 100 children to participate in weekly Right to Play programs for an entire year. No donation you can make is too small as we work toward this goal.
