I fundraise for Right to Play with nordic sport events like ski lessons and laser biathlon demonstrations and races.

My laser biathlon fundraisers involve laser biathlon booths where people can try target shooting using the laser rifle technology used at the 2010 Paralympic Games by donation. The laser rifles provide a close approximation of the true biathlon experience, taking five shots at five targets. The size of the targets can be adjusted so everyone can have fun and enjoy some success, from children to adults. For my laser biathlon fundraisers I bring my laser rifle booth to recreation events, farmers' markets, and community events. When space permits I set up a mini-biathlon course, complete with a short penalty loop for the full biathlon experience!

My next fundraising event will be a classic and skate ski lesson at Whistler Olympic Park on December 4th. The classic lesson will be from 11:00-12:00 and the skate lesson will be from 1:00-2:00. Please meet me 5 minutes before each session in front of the Callaghan Winter Sports Club trailer, which is the closest one to the Biathlon Technical building and is labelled B1. In order to participate in these lessons I am asking for donations of $20 or more to be made on my fundraising page, or in cash on the day of the fundraiser. Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver its programs in countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
