Support My JourneyWe are participating in a great cause and are hoping you will join us
in our endeavor. My brother Tyler and I have been participating in
sports from the time we began to walk. Sports have helped
to positively shape and influence our lives. They have had such an
impact on who we are as people today that we simply cannot pass up the
opportunity to help get others involved in whatever sports they are
most fond of participating in. It is for this reason that
we are raising money to support the charity called "The Right To
Play" . "The Right to Play" is an organization centered around giving
children the opportunity to play sports regardless of their gender,
disability, ethnicity, social background or religion. Through games
and sports this charity helps create social change in communities
affected by war, poverty and disease.
Sports can have a huge
impact on a childs life. We were saddened to discover that many
children do not have the opportunity to participate in sports and so
our goal is to change this. However , we cannot do it alone. It is up
to our friends and family to help us raise money for these
disadvantaged children. Playing sports gives children a chance to
form bonds with others and enjoy themselves. All children should have
this opportunity. If you have personally heard the laughter and seen
the joy on a child's face when he or she plays sports, then I'm sure
you know exactly what we mean.
Let's strive to take this step
together and bring happiness to children throughout the world who just
want a chance to engage in sports with their peers but are prevented
from doing so as a result of some sort of economic or social barrier.
We hope that you join us and take this opportunity to help make an
impact on those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Together we can
make a positive difference on today's youth.
